Cervical Cancer vaccine study
Are you familiar with HPV? It is never too late to learn about the effects of Human Papillomavirus (HPV); a disease that is linked to the development of cervical, vulvar, vaginal cancers and related precancers, external genital warts, and persistent infections. Most women do not even know that they could have this disease. It is said that 50 per cent of sexually active females could have a form of HPV. The best prevention for this is education.
The Wesley Research Institute is currently looking for healthy female volunteers aged 18-26 to participate in a research study evaluating a new investigational vaccine for the prevention of HPV.
Participation will last up to 36 months and will require up to 12 clinic visits. Qualified participants will receive all study-related exams and study vaccines free of charge. Compensation for study-related time and travel may be available.
If you are one of the many individuals who is unsure or unaware of HPV and it's affects and you would like to learn more or help further the prevention of this disease, please call 07 3232 7920 for more information.
