This study, which will involve 50 participants from one site only, being The Wesley Research Institute, will evaluate the benefits of receiving the influenza vaccine alone to receiving it in combination with an immune stimulant patch, which may improve the effects of the vaccination.
The total duration of the study is 28 days and involves:
- Initial screening visit to ensure participants are eligible to take part in the study. At this visit a physical examination and blood test will be taken.
- Visit to the clinic to receive the vaccination and/or study drug.
- Visits to the clinic at Day 7, 21 and 28 for further assessments (including physical examination and a blood test).
This is an open label study therefore the participant, doctor and sponsor will know what medications will be taken.
